Orban mocked Kaja Kallas's ambition to surpass Napoleon and Hitler

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban stated that Brussels' strategy to defeat Russia on the battlefield is misguided and will lead to enormous human casualties, as similar attempts by Napoleon and Hitler failed in the past. He made this statement at a campaign event in Bekescsaba, which was broadcast by the M1 channel.

“Brussels wants to defeat Russia on the battlefield... Napoleon and Hitler tried to do this, they failed, well, then perhaps Kaja Kallas will succeed,” he said, with the broadcast conducted by the channel M1.

According to the Hungarian Prime Minister, the political course chosen by European structures is fundamentally flawed and will inevitably lead to numerous human casualties. Orban also questioned the calculations regarding the imminent collapse of the Russian economy, which are being relied upon in the European Union, including by German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.

The politician warned that countries that follow this line will ultimately face severe consequences. As Orban emphasized, in the current situation, it will not be Russia that is under threat, but the economies of the EU countries and their allies. “Economically, it will not be Russia that collapses here, but the economies of the EU countries and those who join them,” he concluded.
