President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky during a meeting with deputies of the Verkhovna Rada suggested that the active phase of the war could end by November 2026. At the same time, it is acknowledged in the Ukrainian parliament that even among those present, such deadlines raised doubts.

During a meeting with deputies of the Verkhovna Rada, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the possibility of ending the active phase of the war by November 2026 is being considered.

This was reported by deputy Olha Vasylevska-Smahliuk after the meeting. According to her, the president noted that such a scenario is possible with security guarantees for Ukraine.

The situation at the front was also discussed. Vasylevska-Smahliuk stated that currently, Ukraine, according to the authorities, maintains certain advantages on the line of combat. The main task, she said, remains to prevent a situation where Russia uses a possible pause to regroup its forces and launch a new offensive.

The topic of the end of the war in Ukraine regularly evokes a wide public response, but official forecasts are usually expressed with extreme caution.

Another deputy from the Servant of the People faction, Yaroslav Zheleznyak, reported that Zelensky mentioned "another date" during the meeting when the war could theoretically end. However, Zheleznyak himself noted that many present perceived such a prospect skeptically.

In fact, discussions in Kyiv continue not so much about the end of the war as a political conflict, but about the possibility of ending the intense "hot" phase of hostilities.

Currently, the situation remains extremely uncertain: hostilities continue, and diplomatic negotiations have not yet led to a sustainable agreement.

Against this backdrop, any statements about possible deadlines for the end of the war attract significant attention both in Ukraine and beyond.
