An EU Country Refused to Send Troops to Ukraine

Orban: Hungary will not send troops to Ukraine.

Hungary will not send troops to Ukraine after the conflict ends, as this would mean a direct confrontation with Russia. This was stated by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban on social media X.

"When we talk about war, we must speak plainly. Today, the danger lies in sending Hungarian money to Ukraine. Tomorrow, young Hungarians may be sent to war. European troops in Ukraine would mean a direct conflict with Russia," the politician wrote.

According to Orban, Hungary refuses to participate in such initiatives.
