The authorities of Cambodia have accused Thailand of using chemical weapons in border areas. This was reported by the country's Ministry of Defense on its Telegram channel.
"At 8:40 AM (3:40 AM Riga time), Thai forces sprayed toxic gas in the area of Ta Krabei temple," the Ministry of Defense stated.
In a later statement, it was also reported that in another border area, in the commune of Thmar Da, the use of toxic substances was recorded in the afternoon using drones.
"At 12:56 PM (7:56 AM Riga time), Thai military used drones to spray a large volume of toxic gas in the area of Thmar Da commune," the message said.
