The American television network Fox is looking for a "chief viewer of the World Cup." The broadcaster has opened this vacancy in collaboration with an international job search website.
The responsibilities of the future "chief viewer" will include watching all 104 matches of the 2026 World Cup, creating content on social media during the tournament, and participating in promotional events with other fans and tourists during the broadcasts of matches at the famous Times Square in New York City.
The "chief viewer" will need to start their duties on June 6 (that is, a week before the tournament begins) and finish their work on July 26 (a week after the tournament ends). The salary for the fan for nearly two months of this "dream job" will be $50,000.
The World Cup will take place from June 11 to July 19 in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
