Bus driver Dzintars recalls that he has been transporting passengers since the 1980s. Throughout his professional career in freight transportation, he has traveled extensively across Europe and has seen a lot, but - until today, nothing so absurd had happened to him, he tells the TV program "Without Taboo".
At the "Lichupes" stop, heading from Jaunelgava, a car from the State Police stopped in front of the bus.
It turned out that Dzintars attracted the attention of law enforcement officers due to the speed he chose. On the stretch before the specified stop, the police officer noticed that the huge passenger bus was moving at a speed of 65-70 kilometers per hour, and a column of cars had formed behind it.
Despite the verbal warning for driving too slowly, Dzintars still suspects that the so-called traffic patrol he encountered acted incorrectly. The speed he chose, in the driver's opinion, is acceptable for passenger transport and safety.
