In the next 24 hours, the sky will be mostly cloudy, with fewer clouds in the eastern part of the country and on the southern coast of Kurzeme. During the day, heavy rain is expected in some areas, and thunderstorms are possible.

At night, a light to moderate eastern and northern wind will blow, while during the day, a southern and western wind will prevail. Gusty winds are expected during thunderstorms.

The minimum air temperature at night will be +8..+12 degrees, reaching up to +14 degrees in the eastern part of the country. During the day, the air will warm up to +11..+16 degrees, with temperatures in eastern Latvia expected to reach up to +24 degrees.

In Riga, the weather will be predominantly cloudy, with occasional light rain, and heavy rain and thunderstorms are possible at night. A light to moderate northern wind will shift to the east, and during the day, to the south and southwest. The air temperature will be +10 degrees at night and up to +16 degrees during the day.

The Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre has issued a yellow thunderstorm warning for the eastern and central parts of the country. Intense rain, strong winds, and hail are possible during thunderstorms.
