The State Security Service of Latvia (SSS) has published a public report on its activities for the past year. The report includes, among other things, a map showing where the authors of aggressive and pro-Russian comments on social media live.
"The published annual report contains an interesting map showing the locations in Latvia of authors of aggressive and pro-Russian comments recorded by the State Security Service in the online environment in 2025. Riga and its agglomeration are the epicenter of verbal aggression," writes Mārtiņš on the platform 'X'.

It seems that many comments are written from Vidzeme, which is one of the most Latvian regions in Latvia. On Facebook, I have repeatedly noticed that often Latvians with a pro-Russian mindset come from Latvian places, for example, Valmiera, Cēsis, Gulbene, etc. It's interesting why?!

It's incredible that there are so few in the border areas.
-
A terrifying map.

My husband told me, but I didn't believe it, about Varakļāni. There, in the local info group, one supposedly expressed himself fully. The saddest thing is that he is Latvian.
-
Northern Kurzeme is encouraging!
-
A horrifying sight! The fifth column is everywhere!
-
This should be correlated with the population density in specific places. Then it would become clear where the concentration of pro-Russian sentiment occurs. The current map is a specific representation of the population density in Latvia, and that's all.

The Cēsis district, as always, is the most Latvian.
