In the third quarter of this year, most employed people aged 15–74 were employees (762,300 people), according to data from the Central Statistical Bureau.
At the end of the third quarter of this year, 892,100 people were employed in Latvia. Most of them were employees, while 41,000 people were employers.
Also, at the end of September, 79,900 people among the employed population of Latvia were self-employed, and 7,700 were unpaid workers in family businesses, private practice, or on farms.
