He also positively assessed his recent phone conversations with Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelensky — both congratulated the White House chief on his 80th birthday. Trump noted that he believes the leaders are ready for dialogue.

“Maybe we can do something about Ukraine. I think both Putin and Zelensky are open to it. Now that we are done with Iran, we will focus on Ukraine,” he said.
