Due to the organized malicious activities by Russia, the public accessibility of the list of high-risk objects in Latvia should be reconsidered, the State Security Service (SSS) reported.
According to the law, the list of high-risk objects in Latvia is approved by the Cabinet of Ministers. This list, available to everyone online, consists of objects in categories A, B, and C. A total of 468 objects are included in this list across Latvia. For each object, its name, address, activity characteristics, and the amount of hazardous substances in tons are specified.
Category A includes 44 objects, such as petroleum product terminals, oil depots, liquefied petroleum gas terminals, facilities for storing mineral fertilizers, hydroelectric power stations, and important railway stations for transit.
Category B includes 39 objects, such as petroleum product terminals, oil depots, thermal power plants, and various productions. In turn, category C includes 385 objects, such as gas stations and various productions.
