В экстремальных условиях и появляется та самая, животная, радость.

With the help of a clever beast, one can always overcome difficulties.

The first trailer for the film "Heart Of The Beast" has been released by Paramount Pictures. "InterMedia" reminds us that the lead role in the survival thriller directed by David Ayer is played by Brad Pitt, alongside J.K. Simmons and Anna Lamb.

According to the plot, former special forces officer James Belmont (Pitt) and his combat companion, a German Shepherd named Odin, live in remote wilderness in Alaska after being discharged from the army (where both suffered injuries and PTSD). Following a horrific plane crash of their small aircraft, the man and dog are forced to engage in a brutal struggle for survival against the merciless elements.

"Heart Of The Beast" will be released worldwide on September 25. To create the harsh Alaskan landscapes, the creators used locations in Queenstown, Lake Wakatipu, Glenorchy, Mount Aspiring National Park, and the famous Milford Sound. The dog is actually named Uber and is a veteran of mountain rescue operations.

Pitt reunites with the director of "Fury" — David Ayer. We previously wrote about "The Adventures of Cliff Booth" — another upcoming film featuring Pitt from Netflix. "Heart Of The Beast" is fundamentally a different work: it is not a nostalgia for Hollywood, but a harsh physical drama about the limits of human and animal endurance, as well as true friendship.
