In his publication, Shepelev shared that a large photograph of his mother stands next to Platon's writing desk. According to him, he tries to preserve the memory of Zhanna and regularly tells his son that his mother is always with him.

“The closest people to the boy have irrevocably missed his childhood,” said Shepelev, emphasizing that he does not intend to turn his son's meetings with relatives into a television show or a subject of public discussion.

The TV presenter also spoke about the warm relationship between Platon and his current wife Ekaterina Tulupova. According to Shepelev, the boy is growing up to be a kind, talented, and determined person, and his character already allows one to see a worthy young man in him in the future.
