Masha Rasputina has suddenly found herself in a dire situation. The pop star may be left without her only home. The performer of the hit "Tea Rose" Masha Rasputina published an open letter to the Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation Igor Krasnov. "I am a singer. I am not a lawyer. I do not know how to speak in dry legal terms. I know how to sing — and to speak humanely. I am addressing you because there is nowhere else to turn. Because what is happening can only be described as lawlessness," Rasputina stated.
The singer told Krasnov, and everyone else, that she has been living with Viktor Zakharov since 1998. The couple got married in a church in 1999, but their official marriage was only registered in 2025.
Masha's eldest daughter, Lydia, has been recognized as a disabled person of group II and needs "stable conditions, medical supervision, and treatment." The whole family has lived for years in the village of Tagankovo, in the house that Rasputina is now at risk of losing. "In 1999, I sold my personal house with a land plot. I invested all the money into renovating our house. This is not just a house. This is my life. This is my invested efforts and resources," emphasizes Masha Rasputina.
The fact is that Viktor Zakharov is being sued by his ex-wife. The woman is demanding a division of property acquired during the marriage. The proceedings have been ongoing for almost three years. In 2023, Viktor's ex-wife was denied the division of property, but just a few months later, the court sided with her. Initially, Viktor Zakharov was demanded to pay more than 50 million rubles, and then the amount increased to 70 million.
"This woman has never worked anywhere, she has always been supported by my husband. Then she filed for bankruptcy. On June 5, 2025, Judge Yuri Georgievich Gvozdyev of the Arbitration Court of the Moscow Region in case No. A41-32874/24 declared my husband bankrupt. On December 29, 2025, Judge Gvozdyev Y.G. ordered that the financial manager Ilya Vyacheslavovich Timofeyev be granted access to our home for inventory, cadastral work, and appraisal," Rasputina recounts.
