The star of the series "Emergency Room" has endured a lot in her time, and now, when fate has once again thrown surprises her way, Ekaterina Volkova is struggling to hold back her emotions. In a new interview, the widow of Eduard Limonov revealed details of a family drama that has separated her from her beloved grandchildren.
As is known, Ekaterina Volkova's eldest daughter, Valeria, has given her three grandchildren. The eldest, Timofey, is now three years old, the middle one, Platon, is one and a half, and the youngest, Vasilisa, is only four months old. Volkova dotes on her heirs and is ready to do anything for them. But last summer, the actress lost contact with her family. It turned out that the star's son-in-law took Valeria and the children away to an unknown destination.
"He took them away, saying, 'This is my family, that's it. He isolated them from their parents,'" the star of "Emergency Room" stated about the disappearance of her daughter and grandchildren.
Valeria was dating a married man, which is why Volkova previously kept the name of her daughter's chosen one a secret. But now the actress sees no reason to continue protecting the reputation of her wayward son-in-law. It turned out that the actress is related to a businessman from Tashkent, who divorced his previous wife only in January of this year.
"His name is Georgiy Anastasovski. And my daughter is no longer Volkova, but Anastasovski; she secretly changed her last name, and the grandchildren have also been switched from Volkova to Anastasovski," Ekaterina shared.
Indeed, Ekaterina Volkova was ready to do a lot for her eldest daughter and her children. For example, for her eldest grandson Timofey's birthday, the actress gave her daughter her 48-square-meter apartment in Moscow. When Valeria was in labor with her second child, Ekaterina was ready to leave her own anniversary, and when Vasilisa was born, Volkova's daughter was once again surprised by her generous mother. "I gave my daughter 100,000 for the birth," the star recalled. Ekaterina admitted that she misses her eldest grandson Timofey the most:
"I don't see either my daughter or my beloved grandson, who also wants to be with me. We saw each other at the end of summer, and then he was taken away, torn from me. It's terrible, my heart is breaking."
Now Ekaterina Volkova is working with psychologists. "I am in a terrible state," the actress admits, calling everything that is happening a "wild injustice." The actress hopes that Valeria will come to her senses; otherwise, the star of Russian cinema is ready to declare war on her son-in-law and go to court.
