The artist claimed that there was an oral agreement between him and Jolie.
Angelina Jolie is required to provide her ex-husband Brad Pitt access to her personal messages as part of the ongoing court case regarding the Château Miraval winery.
The 62-year-old Pitt has won another round in the long-running dispute with Jolie over the sale of her stake in the winery, which was carried out without his consent. A Los Angeles court ruled that the 50-year-old actress must hand over a number of hidden personal messages related to the case. Pitt had previously requested access to Jolie's correspondence with Stoli Group executive Alexey Oleinik. The star now has 45 days to transfer the data.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt began dating in 2005 and purchased the Château Miraval winery in France in 2008, which became their "love nest." They were married there in 2014, but separated two years later. Since then, Jolie has not visited the winery, and in 2022, she sold her stake for $64 million to Stoli Group founder Yuri Shefler.
Pitt claimed that there was an oral agreement between him and Jolie that they could not sell their shares without each other's consent. The actress herself denied the existence of such an agreement in court.
It is worth noting that the couple lived together for over 10 years. They separated in 2016 and officially divorced only at the end of last year. The pair has six children: adopted Maddox, Pax, and Zahara, as well as biological Shiloh and twins Vivienne and Knox. Pitt is currently dating Ines de Ramon, who is two years younger than him.
