Consumer Rights Protection Center has added eight companies to the 'blacklist' 0 9

The institution indicates that these companies did not provide goods or services in accordance with the terms of the contract, did not consider the consumer's right to withdraw, did not return the paid amounts, and did not comply with the decisions of the Consumer Dispute Resolution Commission.

Thus, the CRPC reports that "Longo Latvia" delivered a car to the consumer that did not meet the contract and did not return the paid money; "Baltic World," also known as "Anex Tour," provided poor-quality tourist services for which the consumer did not receive a refund; "BigTour Tickets" did not refund the money for a canceled trip.

In addition, "Māja elpo" installed a ventilation system that did not meet the terms of the contract and did not return the money; "JA Mēbeles" did not deliver the ordered sofa and also did not issue a refund; "vienmer.lv" did not comply with the consumer's right to withdraw from the purchase, resulting in the paid amount not being returned; "Kalisart," selling baby strollers, restricted the exercise of the right to withdraw, and "Rocket Science" sold shoes that did not meet the contract and did not provide an exchange.

The CRPC urges consumers to check the information in the 'blacklist' before entering into a contract or making a purchase and to carefully evaluate transactions with companies included in it.

Companies are added to this list in cases of serious violations of consumer rights, non-compliance with the decisions of the Consumer Dispute Resolution Commission, and refusal to compensate for the damage caused.
