But the most companies in Poland among foreigners are opened by people from Ukraine.
In 2025, foreigners opened 10,500 companies in Poland - the third best result in history and almost 5% more than the previous year. Poland remains attractive to entrepreneurs from various countries, reported the International Polish Radio today.
The leaders are still citizens of Ukraine - they established 3,200 firms, the same number as in 2024. In second place are citizens of Belarus - 1,370 companies.
The main news is the sharp increase in activity among citizens of China 🇨🇳 - they opened 610 firms, allowing them to rise from fifth to third place.
Next in the ranking are citizens of Germany (514), Turkey (486), India (299), the United Kingdom (256), the Czech Republic (199), Georgia (191), and Italy (167).
What sectors are chosen most often? In first place is gastronomy and restaurants (694 companies). 🍽️
Next are transport (484) and construction work (480). Programming, business consulting, temporary employment, and wholesale trade are also popular.
