This is E. Macron's fourth state visit to China since his election as president in 2017. On this occasion, Xi Jinping received a gift set "created specifically for this meeting." It includes a bottle of Chinese yellow wine from the Huijishan Shaoxing winery and a bottle of Cattier champagne: "These two bottles highlight the close connection between the cultures of two great wine-producing countries."
