Autumn Delight: Pancakes with Caramelized Plums

Autumn is the time for warm breakfasts and fragrant desserts. Try making pancakes with caramelized plums: they are perfect for tea and as a sweet treat.

Ingredients:

  • Wheat flour — 170 g
  • Milk (hot) — 500 ml
  • Chicken eggs — 3 pcs.
  • Sugar — 2 tbsp.
  • Vegetable oil — 60 g
  • Salt — ½ tsp.

For the filling:

  • Plums — 500 g
  • Sugar — 100 g
  • Butter — 30 g

Preparation:

  1. Wash the plums, remove the pits, and cut them in half.
  2. In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter, add the sugar, and stir until dissolved. Add the plums and cook until they become soft.
  3. In a bowl, mix the eggs with sugar and salt, pour in half of the milk, add the flour, and mix thoroughly, then pour in the remaining milk and vegetable oil.
  4. Fry the pancakes in a preheated skillet on both sides.
  5. Place 4–5 plums on each pancake and fold it into an envelope.

Tip: For aroma, add a pinch of cinnamon to the plums.
