The meeting of the national teams of Argentina and Spain was scheduled for March 27 in Qatar at the Lusail Stadium.

The decision was made due to the escalation of the military conflict in the Middle East.

Initially, the match was planned to be relocated; however, in the end, the federations could not agree on a new venue for the game. Various sites were considered earlier, including the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid, but a final compromise was not reached.

In the previous edition of the men's Finalissima in 2022, Argentina defeated Italy at Wembley Stadium in London with a score of 3-0.
