Belarusian tennis player Arina Sobolenko is still preparing to compete in the WTA Finals, but she has already received the award for the world's top-ranked player for 2025 from the organizers.
As previously reported, Sobolenko is no longer dependent on the results of her opponents' performances in terms of holding the top spot in the WTA rankings this season.
The first to congratulate her on this achievement were Spanish player Garbiñe Muguruza and Romanian player Simona Halep.
