The Saeima deputy calls for the introduction of quotas for the entry of citizens from third countries into Latvia.
The head of the parliamentary investigative commission on migration, Janis Dombrava (National Alliance), emphasized on the social network X that "a tough migration policy is a matter of survival for our people."
During an interview with the Latvian TV program Kas notiek Latvijā?, the deputy noted that the security services and migration authorities are already struggling to control the flow of migrants, trying to prevent the formation of ethnic organized crime groups. "The capabilities of our structures are at their limit, so quotas are needed to limit the issuance of multiple visas and residence permits," the politician is convinced.
