Andris Shuvaevs commented on the process of forming a new government.

As is known, while the candidate for prime minister Andris Kulbergs decided to proceed with the formation of the government without the 'Progressives' party. Here’s how Andris Shuvaevs, the head of the parliamentary faction of the 'Progressives' party, commented on this in an interview with Latvian TV today: 'Forming a broad coalition of five parties, in my opinion, would be the most correct at this moment, but at this point Andris Kulbergs (AO) decided to somewhat submit to the ultimatum of the National Alliance and exclude the 'Progressives' from the conversation. Will such an approach allow for the creation of a healthy, sustainable coalition? In my opinion — no.'

Several commentators reacted to this passage from the politician on the social network X, one of whom noted that, in fact, this is about a temporary government - until the elections. That is, until October 3rd and for some period until a new government is approved. 'What kind of sustainable, long-term coalition is Shuvaevs talking about?!' the commentator wonders.
