MP Jānis Dombrava (National Alliance) shared important information that was presented at the last meeting of the parliamentary investigative commission on migration, which he heads: "At the meeting, the competent authorities acknowledged that kebab shops owned by foreigners are massively violating Latvian laws. They do not pay fines. The business is liquidated, but a kebab shop continues to operate at the same address, already registered under a different legal entity. No agency can explain why it has not proposed a solution to this problem.
Why does Europe have serious immigration issues? Because politicians, entrepreneurs, and organized crime see the money that can be made from immigrants. The internal affairs services are pushed aside, their warnings are ignored, resulting in the numerically limited internal affairs services being unable to maintain order in a society where the number of foreigners is constantly increasing.
Latvia still has a chance to correct the mistakes in immigration policy that many European countries have made."
