Private house owner Ralfs was unpleasantly surprised by a letter he recently received from the energy company 'Enefit', reports the show 'Bez tabu'.

"After reading the letter, I saw the contract number — which means the situation had apparently been checked. The letter stated that electricity would be disconnected at the specified address because the person who signed the contract had died!\n\nThis shocked me because the only person who could have signed any contract at this address is me. I am the sole owner of the house and always have been. I have never had any contract with 'Enefit'! I think an elderly person receiving such a letter about supposedly unpaid bills could very well end up in the hospital from the stress," the man said.\n\nAccording to Ralfs, he has had a contract with another electricity supplier for about 30 years. Moreover, there are two electricity meters installed in the house. He found it particularly strange that the letter contained a contract number that was unknown to him but quite specific.\n\nThe man immediately contacted 'Enefit', and the response came quite quickly. It turned out that the Office of Citizenship and Migration Affairs (PMLP) had provided the company with information that the person mentioned in the letter had passed away.
