In the past 24 hours, 23 people were injured in traffic accidents in Latvia, including eight cyclists, two pedestrians, and two e-scooter riders, the State Police reported.
In one day, 136 traffic accidents were registered in Latvia, of which 70 were recorded in the Riga region. In eight of these accidents, a total of ten people were injured.
Additionally, within 24 hours, the police recorded 502 administrative offenses in the field of road traffic, including 192 cases of speeding and two instances of aggressive driving, according to summarized data from the police.
