The State Employment Agency (SEA) will hold a large job fair in Riga - 60 employers will offer job seekers more than 1300 available job positions.
The event will take place on May 7, Thursday, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the "Fantadroms" conference center located at 74a Gustav Zemgala Street, Riga. Admission is free, reports the State Employment Agency (SEA).
The job fair aims to provide every job seeker the opportunity to meet personally with employers from various sectors, discuss working conditions, job specifics, and undergo initial interviews.
The SEA recommends that those looking for work bring their CVs to facilitate communication with employer representatives.
Participants include state and municipal organizations as well as private companies. Among them are: Latvijas dzelzceļš, Latvijas gaisa satiksme, Riga Airport, Rīgas satiksme, Rīgas ūdens, Rīgas namu pārvaldnieks, Vivi, the State Police, the Emergency Medical Service, the municipal police of Riga, the National Armed Forces, major hospitals, Circle K Latvia, Depo DIY, DPD Latvia, G4S Latvia, Jysk, Lidl Latvia, Lido, Maxima Latvia, Rimi Latvia.
Some employers promise not only to present current job vacancies and conduct initial interviews but also to organize special presentations where they will provide more details about their activities, work environment, and development prospects.
