Frosts are expected in places in Latvia on the night of Wednesday, May 6, mainly in Kurzeme and Vidzeme, meteorologists predict.
In Kurzeme and most of Vidzeme, the air will cool down to -2...+3 degrees, while in the southeastern regions of the country, where there will be more clouds and light rain in places, the air temperature will drop to +5...+9 degrees. A weak northern wind will blow.
On Wednesday, the sky will gradually become overcast, and in the afternoon, starting from the south of the country, rain will fall in many places. With a weak to moderate northeast wind, the air temperature will rise to +10...+15 degrees.
In Riga, light cloudiness is expected, but during the day, the clouds will increase, and rain will begin in the evening. A northern to northeastern wind will blow, ranging from weak to moderate. At night, the air temperature will drop to +5 degrees, and in some suburban areas, to +2 degrees. During the day, the air will warm up to +14 degrees, while near the sea, the temperature will fluctuate around +10 degrees.
