Three months before his 82nd birthday, Russian conductor Vladimir Spivakov was hospitalized. The news of the maestro's urgent hospitalization was first reported by Metropolitan Hilarion — in his Telegram channel, he wrote about the suspicion of a stroke in Spivakov and asked for prayer support for Vladimir Teodorovich. The cancellation of the upcoming concert confirmed his words. On June 21, the concert was supposed to take place at the Moscow International House of Music with actress Alisa Freindlich and the chamber orchestra “Virtuosos of Moscow.” The organizers promptly announced the rescheduling of the event: tickets remain valid, and a new date will be announced later.

However, it turned out that Metropolitan Hilarion's concerns about Spivakov's health were somewhat exaggerated. The conductor's wife, Sati Spivakova, clarified the situation by making a statement on her personal social media account.

"Dear friends, both distant and close, thank you for your concern and worry! Vladimir Teodorovich does not have any STROKE, but there are some health issues. The maestro is currently in reliable hands, and he is being examined. The doctors are confident that everything will be fine. Thank you for your understanding!"
