On Sunday, the weekend in Latvia will continue with warm but cloudier weather, predicts the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
During the day, the sky will be overcast in many places, but it will clear up at times and the sun will shine. In some areas, mainly in the eastern regions of the country, light rain is expected. The wind will be weak.
The air temperature will rise to +20…+24 degrees, but in many coastal areas it will be cooler — not exceeding +12…+18 degrees.
In the capital, during the day, the sun will alternate with clouds, and no precipitation is expected. A weak wind from the south will persist. The air temperature will rise to +22…+24 degrees, but it will be a few degrees cooler in the northern part of the city.
Around midday, the level of ultraviolet radiation will reach a moderately high level.
