"Latvijas pasts" is extending the working hours of 49 post offices starting today, representatives of the enterprise informed the LETA agency.
In Riga, post offices located outside shopping centers will serve customers on weekdays from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM starting today. The working hours of customer service centers and post offices located in shopping centers will remain unchanged.
In the regions, 27 post offices will be open two days a week - on Tuesdays and Thursdays - from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. On other working days, they will operate from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM or from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM.
"Latvijas pasts" is a state-owned postal service enterprise employing nearly 1,800 staff.
Last year, the turnover of "Latvijas pasts" amounted to 93.743 million euros, which is 13.4% less than in 2023, and the losses were 111,203 euros compared to profits the previous year.
