EU Residents Urged to Swap Cars for Horses Due to Rising Gas Prices

The Frenchwoman switched from a car to a horse due to rising gas prices in the EU and shared her experience.

A resident of France has switched from a car to a horse due to rising gas prices in the European Union (EU). This was reported by the BFMTV channel.

Stable owner Clara now rides her horse to buy groceries, go to the pharmacy, and even takes her son to school on it. She explained that she was spending 120 euros a week on fuel for her car, while keeping a horse costs only 12 euros.

The Frenchwoman stated that she has no intention of returning to the driver's seat of her car as long as gasoline in the country costs more than two euros per liter.

Fuel prices in Europe have surged due to Iran closing the Strait of Hormuz following attacks by the US and Israel. As noted by Izvestia, energy resource prices have already increased by 50-60 percent.
