Reddit user Chanberry78 shared that he tried to get a job as a secretary but was rejected after the interview. The man admitted that he was shocked when he learned the reason.

"My job application process was in full swing, I had already gone through the interview and was waiting for a call, and eventually they called me back, but no one prepared me for this. The girl from HR told me that they did not want to work with me because they were concerned about photos and videos of violence on one of my profiles," wrote the post's author, who wanted to become a secretary.

When the man asked which profile she was referring to, the girl replied that the account was dedicated to a video game and contained images and videos of animals and elderly people being harmed. Upon hearing the answer, the man was shocked. According to the post's author, he indeed had such a profile, but he hadn't used it for several years.

The author clarified that he had posted videos on the page related to the game Red Dead Redemption. In it, the main character has to engage in shootouts with opponents, rob trains, hunt animals, and do other violent things.

"What struck me was that they managed to find this silly six-year-old account that I had back in the day, it doesn’t even have my full name... And now I’ve fallen into paranoia about other possible accounts that I have and no longer remember. (...) I understand that this happens to people who post very violent or other provocative content, but not with video games from many years ago," he added.
