Which plants are compatible with spinach?

Interestingly, how does spinach coexist with other crops such as radishes, lettuce, and beets?

Spinach has many positive characteristics, including cold resistance, a short maturation period, and compact size. These qualities make it ideal for succession and companion planting.

Additionally, the roots of spinach positively affect soil quality, and the saponin found in its root exudates helps improve nutrient uptake by the roots of neighboring vegetables.

There is documented mutual benefit of spinach on potatoes, tomatoes, beans, and beets. The most common combinations include spinach with kohlrabi, radishes, and lettuce. It also coexists well with carrots, onions, parsley, watercress, celery, cabbage, and strawberries. Spinach has no hostile relationships with any plant species.
