According to the specialist, mold poses a threat to human health. If the fungus has not spread significantly, it can be easily removed.
Areas up to 1 square meter can be cleaned with a soapy solution and then treated with an antiseptic or vinegar.
However, if the mold has penetrated porous materials such as drywall, treatment will no longer help — the damaged area needs to be completely replaced, the expert emphasized.
