The agronomist advised to fertilize the soil after harvesting

After the harvest is collected, it is recommended to sow green manures — plants grown to improve its structure and fertility, said agronomist N. Chaplin.

According to the parliamentarian, leaving the soil bare after harvesting is not advisable. In the autumn, it is important to apply fertilizers and also to sow the area with phacelia or mustard.

These crops structure the soil, enrich it with organic matter, and prevent the growth of weeds, serving as a natural green fertilizer.

For tilling, the deputy recommended applying potassium sulfate, wood ash, or superphosphate — they strengthen the root system and provide a good start for future plantings in the spring. He advised against using nitrogen fertilizers, such as nitrate, in the autumn.
