Plant your money tree in a small pot and place it in a bright spot, but not in direct sunlight, and provide it with moderate watering. This is approximately once a week in the summer and once every 2-3 weeks in the cold season. Overwatering the money tree is not advisable, as it does not like it.
In April, this succulent enters an active growth period. At the very beginning, perform seasonal pruning: shape a neat, even top and remove branches that grow downwards or inward towards the trunk. For the health of the plant, it is important that all its branches do not stretch, grow upwards, or intertwine with each other. Remove unattractive, sick, or dried branches. Prune the plant with clean, sharp pruning shears. Do not water the plant for a few days before and immediately after pruning to allow the cuts to heal.
USEFUL TIP
The main mistake of flower growers is to start watering succulents more during the heat (plants that have specialized tissues for water storage). This should be avoided: the plant can only absorb a certain amount of moisture, and the excess will stagnate at the roots and harm the plant.
