An experienced gardener, agronomist Alexander Khorobrovets, explains:

• Liquid fertilizers should be applied immediately after harvesting the fruits. In the garden, furrows are cut on four sides of the tree to a depth of 18-20 cm. The first furrow should be made along the boundary of the tree's crown perimeter, and the next two or three should be spaced 70-100 cm apart.

For every 2-3 meters of furrow, apply 1-2 buckets of a solution of manure slurry or bird droppings with the addition of 100-200 g of superphosphate and potassium salt.

Fertilizers can also be applied in holes dug around the perimeter of the crown to a depth of 25-40 cm. Use 10-12 buckets of solution per tree.

After fertilization, the plants should be watered abundantly and the furrows or holes should be filled with soil.
