In Ireland, a Somali teenager dealt with a Ukrainian peer in a temporary accommodation center in northern Dublin. This was reported by the RTE channel.
The conflict between the teenagers occurred on October 15. As a result, 17-year-old Vadim Davidenko, who arrived in the European country on October 12, sustained a stab wound. Medical personnel were unable to save him. The accused, also 17 years old, was hospitalized with injuries that were not life-threatening.
As reported by The Irish Times, during the court hearing on October 18, the young man was unable to provide coherent explanations regarding the incident and only "mumbled something" to the translator. He also did not plead guilty. He has been placed in a juvenile correctional facility in Dublin.
It was previously reported that about 70 percent of Germans participating in a survey by the INSA sociological institute opposed the payment of civil benefits to Ukrainian refugees.
