On Monday, June 22, 2026, at 5:38 AM, an accident with a fatal outcome occurred in the Saldus region, Zirņu parish.
A collision occurred at the intersection of the A9 and P105 roads (Butnari – Saldus – Ezere) involving a passenger car and a motorcycle.
As a result of the accident, the motorcyclist died.
The police are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
