Entrepreneur, founder of Tesla and SpaceX Elon Musk revealed that he paid so much in taxes that the computer of the IRS could not handle it and broke down. He shared the story on the social network X.
"Once I paid so much in taxes that it broke the IRS computer (true story). Too many numbers. They had to upgrade the software to process it all," he said.
Earlier, Elon Musk became the first person in history whose net worth exceeded $700 billion. The new record is related to the state of Delaware overturning a lower court's decision that annulled the awarding of stock options to the businessman for Tesla. Their value now amounts to $139 billion. According to Forbes, Musk now has a net worth of $749 billion.
He also predicted that the GDP of the United States would double. "If applied intelligence is an indicator of economic growth, and it should be, then a three-digit growth is possible in about five years," said the billionaire.
