It is known that during the meeting, the Prime Ministers discussed peace negotiations regarding Ukraine and agreed that they occurred "at a turning point for the future." Representatives from Britain and Belgium also called for pressure to be applied to Moscow and for strengthening Kyiv's position. London and Brussels see this as "the only way to achieve a just and lasting peace."
Additionally, the politicians discussed the expropriation of Russian assets, which Belgium opposes.
Earlier, the European Union (EU) indefinitely blocked frozen Russian assets. It is known that this has removed "a serious obstacle to using these funds to assist Ukraine."
