Special attention should be paid to moth protection. This can be achieved using both special products and natural alternatives — sachets with lavender, citrus peels, or cedar blocks. Strong scents repel insects and help keep clothes in good condition.
Equally important is choosing the right storage location. Optimal conditions are a dry, dark, and well-ventilated space without sharp temperature fluctuations. Excessive humidity or heat can lead to odors, fabric deformation, and the development of microorganisms.
Experts also recommend periodically checking items during the storage season. This allows for timely detection of potential problems — for example, the appearance of moths or excess moisture — and quick resolution of these issues.
