Lavash Flatbreads for Meat: A Simple and Delicious Recipe

The recipe is incredibly simple, but the result will charm all lovers of skillet or grill dishes.

Ingredients for 4 Servings

  • Lavash - 1 package

  • Tomatoes - 200 g

  • Garlic - 3-4 cloves

  • Assorted herbs

  • Eggs - 6 pcs.

  • Semi-hard cheese - 100 g

  • Ground black pepper - to taste

  • Salt - to taste

Preparation:

  • Cut the tomatoes into half-rings. Finely chop the herbs.

  • Grate the garlic on a fine grater. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.

  • Place the lavash on a dry frying pan or on a grill rack. Crack one egg and whisk it over the lavash.

  • Add the tomatoes, herbs, garlic, and cheese to the egg.

  • Season with pepper and salt, and fold the edges of the lavash towards the center to prevent the filling from leaking.

  • Cook on the grill or in the frying pan until the filling is sealed on one side, then flip and cook for another 2 minutes.

  • Once ready, you can sprinkle more cheese on top, cut into pieces, and serve with meat or your favorite sauce.
