Firstly, it is advisable to give up sugar and artificial sweeteners. Their excess negates the potential benefits of coffee and negatively affects metabolism.

Secondly, the doctor recommends avoiding industrial creamers — they contain a lot of harmful fats and additives. It is better to replace them with a small amount of milk or unsweetened plant-based alternatives.

Additionally, filtered coffee is considered healthier than coffee made without a filter. It contains fewer substances that raise cholesterol levels. Among the healthy options are also ground, instant, and decaffeinated coffee.

As for the timing of consumption, it is better to drink coffee before noon to avoid disrupting sleep quality. And finally, it is important to remember: coffee stimulates intestinal peristalsis, so people with sensitive stomachs should plan its intake.
