Oasis of Interior and Design in Kipsala – Riga Furniture & Interior 2025 Exhibition

For three days – from October 17 to 19 – Kipsala will become an oasis of inspiration for all, as the Riga Furniture & Interior 2025 exhibition will take place here. Both industry professionals and anyone looking to make their environment more beautiful, modern, and comfortable will be able to explore a wide and diverse offering – furniture, lighting, textiles, interior accessories, and creative design solutions all in one place.

Riga Furniture and Interior 2025 will gather over 200 participants from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Denmark, Finland, Switzerland, Poland, Germany, and other countries. The exhibition will feature furniture and interior showrooms, designers, artists, architects, lighting and sound specialists, as well as manufacturers offering both modern solutions for the home and the opportunity to order custom-tailored projects.

International Brands and Local Products in One Place

At the Riga Furniture & Interior 2025 exhibition, visitors can draw inspiration for all spaces – from home offices to living rooms, from bathrooms to garages. Compact and adjustable desks from LinERGO and ergonomic chairs from RestockFurniture will make working in a home office pleasant and efficient. Solutions for living rooms, bedrooms, and interiors will be presented by Skandi mēbeles, LONAS, and Mūzas istaba, offering upholstered furniture from Scandinavian and Baltic manufacturers. The latest collections from the Deante brand will make kitchens more functional and stylish with modern faucets and sinks. Bathrooms will come to life with expressive silhouettes created by the Latvian bathtub manufacturer PAA, which has managed to combine craftsmanship, modern technology, and handwork. By the way, PAA has established cooperation with internationally recognized designer Karim Rashid. The collaborative result – a new original collection of bathtubs – will be showcased at the exhibition.

Not only furniture but also lighting is a central focus of the home! Chandeliers from the Italian brand Reccagni Angelo, the Garden Lamp Collection, and Olighttube will create an exquisite atmosphere both indoors and outdoors. Elements of nature – stabilized decorations made of moss and plants, three-dimensional wall flower compositions, figurines of forest animals, and many other trendy design items – will be presented by Moss Art Studio, DABA deco, and others.

Kipsala will offer a wide selection of finishing materials – tiles, wallpapers, parquet, laminate, and other flooring, as well as natural stone materials. Among the innovative solutions will be glass shower constructions from Stikla serviss, smart door locks from INO Lock for more convenient daily life, and PDLC Filmbase films – a modern glazing solution that instantly changes the glass texture from transparent to frosted. The diverse offerings of the exhibition allow visitors to familiarize themselves with current innovations, compare options from various companies, find their style, and get inspired for future changes.

Ideas and Solutions from Interior Designers

At the Riga Furniture & Interior 2025 exhibition, everyone can receive professional advice on how to make their home or work environment more functional, cozy, and aesthetically pleasing. For three days, individual consultations will be held at the Latvian Designers' Union exhibition, where visitors can learn how to start making changes, how to avoid the most common mistakes, and what simple solutions to use to achieve a significant effect with minimal resources.

Experts will discuss the latest trends – natural materials, the importance of light, and technological possibilities, as well as provide practical individual advice. To make the consultation as useful as possible, it is recommended to bring floor plans or photographs and prepare relevant questions.

Young Talents and Contemporary Art

For the second year, visitors to the exhibition will be able to enjoy the creative event ARTISTS RUNWAY 2025 – a pop-up gallery where art meets design, scenography, and light. It will be created by architect Anda Alksniņa and the creative association MĀK under the guidance of artist Ildze Ose, in collaboration with art historian and curator Uldis Jaunzems-Petersons. This space of inspiration, created by both established artists and young talents, will provide vibrant impressions for all exhibition visitors.

Particular attention will be paid to the works of young designers and artists – exhibitions from art and design schools that will unveil a new generation of the creative industry.

The Future Path of the Latvian Furniture Industry

The tradition started last year – a conference dedicated to the Latvian furniture industry "Furniture Industry in Latvia and the World. Today and Tomorrow" – will again gather industry leaders at Riga Furniture & Interior for an open discussion about the future of this sector. This year's central theme is human capital and market competitiveness. These are questions about whether furniture production in Latvia will continue to be done by people or robots, how far automation will go, how to attract and retain employees, how the new generation is changing work culture, and what opportunities digitalization and collaboration with architects and designers open up.

Representatives from the Latvian Association of Sustainable Procurement, the Latvian Designers' Union, the Latvian Architects' Union, SEB Bank, and experts from companies such as Nakts mēbeles, Bolderāja serviss, Intarsija, Peruza, Hettich, Industriālais krāsu apgāds, Kronospan, and others will participate in the event. This conference has already become an important event for professionals, where they can analyze challenges and find common solutions for the development of the industry.
