Apple has officially stopped producing and releasing Mac Pro computers.

Apple Inc. has ceased production of the Mac Pro computers. This was reported by the publication 9to5mac.

Previously, journalists noticed that the Mac Pro page — Apple's professional and powerful computers — had disappeared from the company's website. Later, a representative of the IT giant confirmed that the company does not plan to develop and release Mac Pro models in the future.

"Of course, today’s news will surely disappoint some loyal Mac Pro fans. But it has been clear for a long time," reacted journalist Chance Miller to the official burial of the computer series. Apparently, the Pro line will be replaced by Mac Studio devices — expensive computers with the most powerful processors and large memory capacity. For instance, the Studio model with the M3 Ultra chip costs $6,999 (about 570,000 rubles).

The first version of the Mac Pro was released in 2006. The latest model, which appeared in 2023, featured the M2 Ultra processor, 64 gigabytes of RAM, and 1 terabyte of built-in storage, supporting simultaneous connections of up to eight 4K displays.
