The release of the Cyberpunk 2077 sequel will be postponed 0 10

CD Projekt RED will release a full sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 no earlier than 2030. This was reported by the Polish publication Strefa Inwestorow (SI).

Journalists referred to a report by analysts at Noble Securities, who assessed the investment potential of CD Projekt RED based on planned releases. According to sources, Cyberpunk 2077 will appear at the end of 2030 — the game's release will be postponed to a later date to add multiplayer.

The release of the original Cyberpunk 2077 has also been postponed multiple times. The studio began work on the project in 2012 and promised to present the title in 2019. However, after several delays, the release of Cyberpunk 2077 took place in November 2020 and was associated with a scandal. Analysts at Noble Securities believe that the studio will present the sequel to the game on the 10th anniversary of Cyberpunk 2077.

Sources also reported that in 2026, CD Projekt RED will present a paid expansion for The Witcher 3, which will connect the storyline of the 2015 game with the storyline of The Witcher 4. The release of the latter is expected at the end of 2027.
