Irish mixed martial artist and former two-weight UFC champion Conor McGregor has become the most tested UFC fighter for doping this year.
According to a report published on the official website of the UFC anti-doping program, 655 fighters from the promotion underwent no more than three tests, many of them just one. Meanwhile, McGregor was tested seven times.
This is due to the fact that the Irishman was previously suspended for 18 months for violating anti-doping rules. His suspension ended on March 24. According to rumors, the former champion is indeed planning a return. It is rumored that Conor will compete in July in Las Vegas at a tournament that concludes the annual International Fight Week.
The last time the Irish athlete stepped into the octagon was in July 2021. In the fight against Dustin Poirier, he broke his leg and lost by technical knockout.
